You need to do this before you're able to catch these Pokémon.

Go south and then west until you find a waterfall. Use Waterfall and go west until you reach a fork. Go south, then west until you find a cave. Enter it.

There, go into the middle of the circular area, and a text box will appear asking if you want to check the area. Say yes, and Uxie will appear.

You'll want to go there by flying to Victory Road, and then going south to Route 23.
Cut down the bush using Cut, then go west until you reach a plateau with a large boulder.
Say yes, and Azelf will appear.

Unfortunately, if you defeat Mesprit, you cannot re-encounter it in Pokémon Black 2 or White 2. For future legendary encounters, save your game before the battle; if you accidentally defeat the Pokémon, you can reset your console to try again.

Stock up on plenty of Ultra Balls and Timer Balls. Timer Balls are useful if the battle goes on for a long time. You'll also want to stock up on Dusk Balls if you're playing at night.

The legendaries are level 65, so make sure you have Pokémon of at least that level.
