Hiding Notifications of Accepted Friend Requests

Open the Facebook app.
Go to ☰ > Settings and Privacy > Settings > Privacy Settings > Who can see your friends list?
Select “Only me” to hide your friends list from everyone but you.

Open Facebook on your iPhone or iPad. Look for the blue icon with a white “f.” You’ll typically find it on your home screen, but it may be inside of a folder.
- If you’re not already signed in, enter your login information to do so now.
- This method will help you hide your friends list from everyone except yourself. This is the only way to keep your new Facebook friendships a secret.

It’s the third option from the top of the menu.
A blue and white check mark will appear in this option’s corresponding bubble. Now that you’ve hidden your friends list from everyone except yourself, nobody will know when you add a new friend.
