Yup, a lot of people. These DIY matte polish projects don't work very well in the sense it either doesn't stay matte for more than a few seconds, or it alters the color (makes it lighter and cloudy, not matte).

Try applying a matte topcoat after the polish has dried, however if that dose not work maybe you just have a bad polish. sometimes its best to spend a little bit of money on a good polish that can last a while and has the effect you want.
