    Expert Answer
The key with a letter of intent is to convey why you are the perfect candidate for the role you are applying for. Additionally, try to include a personal example which conveys your personality and gives the reader a glimpse of who you are. Use specific examples for each letter—make sure to switch it up!
  • Question
How do I write a letter of intent to apply for a higher position in the same organization?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
Include what you have learned while holding the lower position, and what you hope to learn when you take the new position.
  • Question
How can I adapt this to fit a scholarship application?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
It should be in a similar format. If you're applying to college, make sure you put some attention on how you excelled in high school, but don't be redundant; if the school has received your past grades, SAT scores, and a list of extracurricular activities, there is no need to list them again. Instead, focus on a feature of you that is not included in any of those.

  • Question
How do I write a letter of intent for pro-abortion?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
I wouldn't say pro-abortion, but pro-choice. give multiple reasons on why you are/you think everyone should be pro-choice. For example, you could say that the whole idea of pro-choice is that it's the woman's choice to either get an abortion or not, and if you do not personally believe in abortion, pro-choice laws aren't going to force you to have one.
  • Question
If I'm selling my parents' home, how do I write a letter of intent to the bank?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
Unless you have power of attorney that specifically includes dissolution of property, you can't. If you do have that, you don't need to consult the bank. You would then have an appraisal done and sign a contract with a real estate agent to act as your selling agent. It's a good idea to ask for the lowest percentage commission, and you can check with several agencies to find the lowest number. Also be sure to ask how many houses they have sold recently, and how many specifically in your area or price range.
  • Question
How long should a letter of intent be?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
A letter of intent should be as brief and precise as possible. It should range between 2- 4 pages.
