Do you have an image on your phone you want to share in a Discord server, but the image might be spoiler-y? Or perhaps you've got a link to send on your phone but you're worried the automatic image embed might show some content some of the server members don't want to see. In this article, we'll teach you how to spoiler images and link embeds on Discord mobile.

Things You Should Know

  • After adding an image to your message, tap or long-press it and check the "Mark as spoiler" box to spoiler tag the image.
  • To spoiler tag a link with an image embed, type || on either side of the URL to spoiler the link.
  • Alternatively, you can put < and > around a link to remove the embed entirely.

  2. The message should look like ||[link url]|| and the link should be highlighted in gray to signify it is going to be spoilered.
  3. The link will be spoiled with a black spoiler filter, and the image will be spoiled with Discord's blurred image spoiler filter.
    • Alternatively, you can send the link surrounded by < and > to remove the preview embed. The link would then look like <[link url]> before you send it.
