What is Sakamoto Days?
Sakamoto Days is a manga series by Yuto Suzuki that started in November 2020 and is published by Jump Comics. It’s an action comedy that satirizes many aspects of action movies, Yakuza and crime, and anime in general. An anime adaptation began airing in January 2025.

What is Sakamoto Days about?
Sakamoto Days follows Taro Sakamoto, a former hitman who was better than anyone at taking out his targets, earning him quite a reputation. Sakamoto gets out of the hitman business when he falls in love, and now, years later, Sakamoto has gotten older and started a convenience store. But he can’t quit the hitman game that easily, and shady characters from his past have turned up to test his commitment to his domestic life, and maybe even put his family’s life in danger, in the process.

  • Kei Uzuki: Notorious serial killer and assassin
